I began riding in parades a few years ago and  Khan Valiente has been a wonderful parade horse!  Although parades are a lot of work and make for some long days, they are great fun and the crowds always love our horses and our traditional tack and attire.  Riding with the Peruvian Paso Heritage Riders, we have won first place in our divisions in virtually every parade we have entered!  The culmination of our efforts in 2007 was the opportunity to ride in the Rose Parade. I dreamed of this opportunity since I was a little girl and to actually be out on Colorado Blvd. was an absolutely incredible experience!
